Summer is here and too many things going on! News from Texas is that the Austin Pioneer Farm Museum has a new 38 foot log flagpole hewn out by hand with an 1850's broadaxe on loan from the generally absent blacksmith from Skinner Village,.... who is also teaching classes to other museums about, you guessed it, log cabins and blacksmithing! The new flag pole was raised by hand on July 3rd, just in time to greet guests for the of July Festival. Hope things in your area going good, and you like new music on the website.
